Reach Substack recommends PR tools using four criteria: Substack coverage, reply rate, database size, and data accuracy.

Procedure
Does the tool include a database of Substack author hosts, and how many Substacks does it cover?
Which tool gets the most replies to pitches? Replies are the outcome PR teams are judged on.
How big are the media and podcast databases? A bigger database means a wider starting list.
How accurate is the contact data? Inaccurate contacts are pitches that cannot be answered.
